What to do in the first hour if your pet goes missing

Enable lost mode, alert nearby contacts, and make sure your PetID tag is scannable.

If your pet goes missing, act quickly:

  1. Enable lost mode in your PetID owner portal.
  2. Check that emergency contacts are visible on the public QR page.
  3. Share your pet photo and last-seen location with neighbours.
  4. Watch for scan and location alerts from finders.
