How do I activate my PetID tag?
Scan the QR on your phone, sign in or create an account, fill your pet details, and PetID goes live automatically. You can also open Activate QR in the owner portal and scan there.
Does the QR tag need a subscription?
No monthly fee for the core PetID profile. Get a tag from a partner shop or via our team once, then keep your digital profile for life.
How does lost mode work?
Enable lost mode in your owner portal. When someone scans the tag, they see your message and can call or share their location with you.
Is GPS built into the tag?
The tag uses QR scan + optional location share from the finder's phone — not a GPS collar. It is honest, battery-free safety.
Can I update my pet's info later?
Yes. Log in anytime to update photos, contacts, medical notes, and privacy settings. Scan alert preferences are under Privacy on each pet page.
Where can I buy a tag?
Request a tag online and we will assign one or connect you with a nearby partner shop. You can also walk into a listed PetID shop.
How long does shipping take?
Metro cities usually take 2–4 business days after confirmation; other pin codes 4–7 days. Shop purchases are handed over in store.
