Do finders need an app?
No. Anyone with a phone camera can scan the PetID QR and open the profile in their browser — no app download for finders.
Is there a monthly fee or subscription?
No monthly fee for the core PetID profile. Get a tag from a partner shop or via our team once, then keep your digital profile for life.
Is PetID like GPS or an AirTag?
No. PetID has no battery and does not track your pet live. It is a QR that opens your living profile. Finders can optionally share their phone’s location once — only if you allow it. That is different from GPS collars or AirTags.
Where can I get a PetID tag?
Visit a listed partner shop, or request a tag online and we will assign one or connect you with a shop nearby. PetID is sold through partners — not a Buy Now checkout.
How do I activate my PetID tag?
Scan the QR on your phone, sign in or create an account, add a pet photo and phone number — PetID goes live automatically in about two minutes. You can also open Activate QR in the owner portal.
What do finders see — and is my address shared?
You control what shows: photo, Call, WhatsApp, care notes, and optional reward. Home address is optional and never required on the public page. PetID is not live GPS — no tracking chip, no battery.
How does lost mode work?
Enable lost mode in your owner portal. When someone scans the tag, they see your message and can Call, WhatsApp, or share their location with you.
Can I update my pet's info later?
Yes. Log in anytime to update photos, contacts, medical notes, and privacy settings. Scan alert preferences are under Privacy on each pet page.
How long does shipping take?
Metro cities usually take 2–4 business days after confirmation; other pin codes 4–7 days. Shop purchases are handed over in store.
